Quelle che propone Ray Tarantino sono canzoni che attingono a piene mani dalla storia della popular music: l’influenza dei “mostri sacri” del rock si sente un po' ovunque in “Recusant”, il suo album d'esordio, ma nulla toglie alla sua bravura e allo spessore dei suoi brani.
